Tirupati: Former Chittoor MLA CK Jayachandra Reddy popularly known as CK Babu’s honeymoon in BJP seems to be coming to an end. Speculation was rife that the four-time MLA and one of the strong leaders in Chittoor may bid adieu to BJP which he had joined only in November 2017 and may contest the 2019 elections as an independent candidate and he doesn’t want to sail with the sinking ship anymore.

In fact, he started his career as an independent candidate in 1989 and won the election. He won as MLA in 1994, 1999 and 2009 as Congress candidate. Significantly, in 1994 elections, he was the only Congress candidate to win the election from Chittoor district as all the remaining 14 constituencies went into TDP’s account.

However, he lost the election in 2004 when he contested from Chittoor as an independent candidate after Congress party had denied him the ticket following a murder case. He did not contest in 2014 elections Chittoor mla ck babu biography of abraham franklin!
